Hello Fartlekkers!! Thank you to everyone that tuned in to the live third round draw on Sunday. If you didn't manage to catch it you can watch it in full on our IG page. On it we announced the results of round 2, the winners of each tie (which included the controversial tie where there was a dead tie!!), and we drew balls out of the bag to decide the ties for the next round.
There were some very impressive performances yet again, with over two thirds of the runners breaking post covid pbs! Out of the 16 that are in round two, 7(!!) of them broke their all time parkrun pbs!! We are hoping for more of the same in round 3 as the competition starts to really heat up.
All remaining participants now have 4 weekends - 12th, 19th & 26th of March, along with the 2nd of April to put in as many efforts as they wish. There is no need to submit results as Ben will pick them up from the 5k app.
